The production of DEINHARD's sparkling wines in the Bernkasteler Sektwerkstatt (sparkling wine studio), which are made on site using traditional bottle fermentation methods, is an experience in a class of its own. In the basement, the finest Moselle sparkling wines mature on their lees and every single bottle in various sizes is individually riddled until the delicious contents have reached their best quality. Here you can not only watch, but wine and sparkling wine enthusiasts can also join in by prior arrangement.
Art pervades the entire building complex - the god of wine, Bacchus, welcomes you as a representative, as an incarnation in the hotel lobby and is celebrated here in a unique way. In the stairwell, art from 40 years of art scholarships between the Bonner Kunstverein and Peter Mertes KG.
